My current registrar charges $35/year (with no services but free parking), can I transfer my domains to DomainBros.com?
You can transfer domains from any other registrar at NO EXTRA CHARGE other than 1 domain/year unit
(but 1 FULL year is added to all transferred names expiration date).
Who is the owner of the domains I register?
You are the owner and will remain the owner as long as you pay your registration renewal fees at the end of your current registration term.
Your ownership of the name means you can change any information you want on the domain. Sell the name. Transfer it anywhere you like.
Use whatever hosting or email services you want. You are not leasing the name and we take no ownership interest in your names.
We do not require any advertising on your site or anything of the sort. Your ownership information will show up whenever someone searches that domain name at our site,
at the Network Solutions site, at the Register.com site and everywhere else that provides domain search services.
With DomainBros.com you can make changes as often you choose at NO EXTRA CHARGE.
Do I need to remember renew my domains every year?
Forget about renewing your domains every year. You can register individual names for 1 to 10 years.
However, as long as you are sure to keep your contact information up to date on the online control panel,
you will receive renewal invoices prior to the current expiration term of your domain. And as long as you pay the
renewal invoice in a timely manner it will secure your domain for another term. To avoid any potential problems
the 10 year registration term is the safest bet.

You can manage your domains immediately after registration, just type your domain name and password to login domain cotrol panel.
You can also login through our home page, just click "manage your domains link".

Can I point my domain name to a website I already have?
Yes you can, this is called domain forwarding. You can choose URL forwarding which allows you to forward your domain name to an existing website.
For Example www.yourdomain.com will automatically send visitors to www.yourwebsite.com - or you can even point the traffic to a subdirectory like www.internetserviceprovider.com/members/youraccount/index.html
You can also choose frame forwarding which will allow the display of your new domain URL on the address bar of the site you are being forwarded to.

Yes, for example if you choose your forwarding address to be you@mail.com all traffic sent to firstname.lastname@yourdomain.com, info@yourdomain.com,

You can also choose forward yourdomain.com mail up to 50 different mail boxes ie. support@yourdomain.com forwards mail to john.smith@aol.com,
sales@yourdomain.com forwards mail to peter@hotmail.com and use *-sign to forward all the rest traffic to any other email address you choose.
What is sub domain?
You can create up to 15 sub domains like support.yourdomain.com, ftp.yourdomain.com, music.yourdomain.com etc. point to any web address you choose.
Full DNS management, tell me about it.
We allow five types of address records to be added to our DNS servers (advanced users only). They are as follows:
A (Address) Using this type of record allows you to associate a host with an IP address. The IP address that you use does not have to be on your network. For example, you could have the host record for www point to 207.46.130.14 (the address for the Microsoft web site).
MXE (Mail Easy) Using a mail record allows you to specify the address of your mail server. When you use a mail record, you must use an IP address in the address field. (Experts: Creating a mail record actually creates both the MX and the A record in DNS. Also, when using multiple mail servers, a preference value of 10 is used on all entries).
MX (Mail) Can be either a host name under this domain name (for example, "mail3") or the name of a mail server (for example, "mail.yahoo.com."). NOTE: When using a mail server name, it should end with a period ".". (If you forget the period and we recognize the TLD, we will automatically insert one.).
CNAME (Alias) An alias record type is used to associate a host name with another host. The host that you wish to point to does not have to be on your network. For example, you could have the host record for www point to www.microsoft.com. You can also simply use an "@" to represent your domain. Important:When you use a domain in the address field you must add a trailing period ("."). Unless you do so the name server will add your domain to the end of the domain given.
FORWARDING as described earlier.
